1st February – Isolated and left alone

Not doing so well, the Dr will hopefully mend me, at least mostly.

There is something faintly satisfying about sitting under a no phones sign, phone in hand. In reality using it is too hard, too bright, too loud, but just having it in your hand is enough that people ignore you, assume you are in your own world and don’t try to engage.

If you look on the list of things behind the desk at reception then they shouldn’t turn people away for then the last one on the list is “suicidal” I wonder how they think they’d know.
